The Industrial Research and Training Centre (IRTC) is located in the Industrial Township of Namrup, Dibrugarh — a region that has been at the heart of Assam’s industrial growth since 1960. Surrounded by leading industries such as Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited, and the Namrup Thermal Power Station, as well as being just 30 km from the headquarters of Oil India Limited in Duliajan, Namrup offers unmatched opportunities for industry-linked skill development. With the vision of empowering and skilling the youth of Assam and the North East, IRTC focuses on providing job-oriented, industry-based professional courses.
